Meet The Team
President
Rob Francis
Rob has been organising events to raise funds for MOSS Foundation’s clean water projects since 2005.
He works in the extractive, waste, recycling & environment industry and is responsible for managing environmental compliance and stakeholder relationships for communities, governments and industry.
Career experience includes developing recycling programs for Councils and some of Australia’s largest companies, as well as work in the fashion and construction industries. Rob was also Australia’s first professional skateboarder.
Rob lives with his wife in Melbourne, Australia and has two adult children.
Vice-President
Noel Forsyth
Noel is active in garnering support from industry and the main stream media, as well as producing quality collectables and artwork for MOSS Foundation charity auctions.
He held the position of Global Vice President at an international publicly listed Australian skate & shoe company and contributor to magazines in Australia and overseas.
Noel lives with his wife & two children in Melbourne.
Secretary
Stephanie Salinas
Stephanie is an experienced environmental scientist & project manager who specialises in environmental impact assessment. She has a passion for creating sustainable change through both her professional and personal endeavours.
She has experience working both for the private and government sectors in Australia. Stephanie is currently employed in the government water sector, overseeing the operation of a Waste to Energy facility which converts recovered food waste into green energy to power the neighbouring waste water treatment plant.
Board Member & Art Curator
Matt Wilson
Matt helps MOSS Foundation produce, promote, curate and run the annual MOSS Deck Art Show. He has directed over 300 TV commercials and digital
content for international agencies and multinational clients worldwide.
He is well known for his work though the South East Asian region and is experienced in working with all business cultures.
Matt lives in Melbourne, Australia with his wife and son.

Dan O'Toole
Dan not only has an extraordinary talent as a wrought iron sculptor, but brings to MOSS experience as a Board Chair and decades as CEO of a number of
environmental & engineering consulting firms serving governments and industry.
Dan lives in Hobart Tasmania, Australia with his wife and three children.
Board Member + Media Manager
Steph Holland
Steph is a senior environmental professional currently working as an Environmental Manager in the transport, waste and recycling sector. Steph has held a number of leadership roles at some of Australia’s largest waste and recycling companies and believes the power of collaboration, energy, honesty and transparency are key to achieving sustainability goals and overall success within organisations; a set of values she also brings to MOSS.
Previously, Steph spent several years volunteering with Edmund Rice Camps, a not for profit organisation based in Lower Plenty, Victoria which provides fun camps and tutoring services for disadvantaged youth and their families, with a key focus on helping migrant families settle into our community and provide positive role models and mentors whilst they navigate their new life.
Treasurer
Craig McCloskey
Craig is a Chartered Accountant with many decades experience in both Australia and internationally, holding senior positions such as a Chief Financial Officer, General Manager and other senior executive positions for listed and private companies in Australia, Brazil, the United States and the United Kingdom.
Craig has also volunteered as Treasurer and President on the Board and P&C Association for schools in Brazil and Sydney.

James Robinson
James has been part of the MOSS family since 2016, you may have seen him burning his unique style of art onto a MOSS deck at one of our events.
James has over 25+ years working within the surf industry as an Art Director, Graphic Designer, Illustrator & Brand/Team manager working with local and
international labels in Australia, Europe, USA & beyond.
James brings a wealth of creative knowledge and a design skill set that supports MOSS showcase its ever growing presence among the global art community.
Founder of Bound By The Sea, James creates one of a kind handmade, hand shaped wooden board, paddles & artwork.
James lives on the beaches of Sydney, Australia with his wife and two children.

Mark Kent
Mark is a talented film maker and is active in promoting MOSS Foundation with communities in Australia and overseas.
He is influential in the government education sector as a school principal of a large metropolitan primary school and has held senior leadership roles including director on the board of Gowrie Victoria as well as president of the Australasian Association of Distance Education Schools encompassing Australia and New Zealand.
Mark is married, has two adult children and lives in Melbourne, Australia.

Darren Montague
Darren is a sign writer and artist with a company in Melbourne. Darren has been involved with MOSS Foundation since 2009.
He has been an active skater in Melbourne since the 1970’s and involved with earlier MOSS fundraising for water supply project in Africa prior to its incorporation in 2009.

Ed Keating
Ed is a career hospitality professional who graduated from kitchens to front of house and then into
sales.
Ed now runs his own business in Hastings, Victoria - Serving the best gluten free fried chicken
in the universe! Ed has been an active supporter of MOSS Foundation for a number of years.
Barcelona Coordinator
John French
John runs the MOSS Foundation Barcelona group and coordinates a group of artists and supporters from Spain and beyond. As well as working as an artist, he is also a teacher and has worked extensively with NGOs as both a campaigner and a graphic designer, illustrator and photographer.
Among others, he has worked for Oxfam GB, Greenpeace International, Amnesty (International office UK) and Open Arms (Spain). He also has a keen interest in philosophy and ethics. John lives with his wife and two children in Barcelona, Spain.
